File naming Do’s and Don’ts

One of the first things you’ll discover as a Virtual Assistant is how much of your work depends on files: proposals, invoices, reports, social media content, client documents, and more. But here’s the catch: if you don’t have a clear and consistent file naming system, things can spiral into chaos very quickly. Imagine working with multiple clients and struggling to figure out which “final report” really is the final version, or which client it relates to. Not only does it waste time, but it can also look unprofessional.
